Day 2

Our first stop came in South Bend, Indiana. It was just off I80, We needed a little fun, so we drove around campus checking out some of the sites. We stopped at the stadium briefly. I jumped out and took this pictured. Got boo-ed by some Notre Dame students. Then it was right back on the highway to Chicago.

We arrived in Chicago around 1 pm. Put our stuff at the hotel, and went downtown. Chicago is awesome. The architecture is amazing. There is a ton of huge skyscrapers. We walked around checking out the sites, and then walked over to the Hancock Tower. We had a drink at the top, and then made our way over to Wrigley field.

The plan was to go back to the hotel and nap for about two hours, and then go out to Buddy Guy’s blues club for a late dinner. We laid down at 6:30. I set my phone alarm for 8:30… I ended up waking up at 3:30 in the morning. I’m not sure if the alarm went off at all, but my body needed sleep. So that’s what it got.
