So I spent a good 5 days in Colorado. I honestly had to make myself leave that place because it is so amazing, but lets start from the beginning.
So yesterday we arrived in Fort Collins. After getting a little tour of the town from Juli, Dad and I went to Jules for a well needed nap. When we woke up, Mark Mul had arrived. We all got ready and went out for some drinks on the town.
We went to the first place. No idea what the name was, but it was a chilled out kind of place. We all went downstairs and sat at a table for a while. It reminded me of basement bar in State College. Except that it is 1800 miles from State College.
That was fun, but it was time to move on to another bar. Somewhere along the way I started talking to some people about what its like in State College. All of a sudden this dude that is walking next to me moves to the middle of the street and starts cursing me out. F Penn State and all this nonsense about how Penn State sucks. Now we all know this is not true. I mean we’re ranked in the top 5 in the country right now. But anyway… this dude starts yellin and flippin out and not 10 seconds later a cop pulls up and threatens to arrest him.
My hands are pretty messed up, so its not like I was gonna fight this drunkard anyway. But it was hilarious. Moral of the story… Penn States rules… and if you say otherwise you will be arrested.
Anyway…. We had a real good time out at the bars.
So the next day we woke up and went to the Colorado State homecoming game. Their stadium is awesome. It sits right up against the mountains. We did a little tailgating. Certainly not tailgreating. But it was fun.

After the game, we took a ride up to the reservoir. This place is right behind the stadium. Maybe 5 minutes from downtown. The view up there was amazing. I would definitely like to go back there in the summer.
After that we hit the road for Denver. The ride there was brutal. It rained the entire time. Visibility was pretty bad. By the time we got to Denver, we were all exhausted. We decided to take a nap, then wake up and go out downtown.
That didn’t happen. For the second time on this trip, I tried to nap, and ended up sleeping all night. I actually woke up around 1:30 in the morning and was wide-awake. Actually all of us did. Luckily I was able to fall back asleep until morning.
Day 6
Sadly, Sunday was the last day for my dad on this trip. I definitely feel lucky that he was able to do part of the with me. Lets face, the odds of us ever being able to do something like this together again are slim to none. I had an awesome time with you Dad.
After breakfast, we drove my dad to the airport. From there it was down to Mile High Stadium for the Broncos game. First thing I want to say is that Broncos tailgating is WEAK! No disrespect to the dude’s tailgate that I went to, because he did it big. But we were parked right next to the stadium, and there were empty spots. It was nothing compared to the Eagles tailgates.
Weak as it was, it actually worked out in my favor. Mark and I went into the game and had good seats. After half-time we went and met up with his friend that were there, and just sat in some seats down low. There were so many open seats, it didn’t matter. Anyway, the game was awesome. Check out the sweet Captain pose.
After the game, I met up with Aaron Zerrrrblehbleh. My old roommate from college. We went out in downtown for a drink to watch the Phils.
